Yoga for Menopause

A five-week programme to help you with menopause.

Classes are suitable for everyone in peri-menopause, menopause or post-menopause.

I am well into my peri-menopause journey myself and have found my own yoga practice to help with a wide variety of symptoms I have been suffering, such as poor sleep, anxiety and general aches and pains. I would now like to be able to share this with others.

These classes will run on a 5-week rolling program on Wednesdays at 19:00 – 20:15 at the Goose Green clinic.

Class size will be limited to 5 students and is open to all women who are peri-menopausal, in the menopause or post-menopausal. 

The first 4 weeks of the class will look at the physical practice of yoga (asana) that can help with:

  • Increasing strength and flexibility.
  • Calm and soothe you when you feel anxious and overwhelmed.
  • General aches and pains.
  • Give you a boost when you are feeling run down.

We will also look at the role of breathing techniques (pranayama).

The last week will be an interactive session with a Nutritional Therapist to discuss ways that diet and nutrition can help you during this time of life.

A resource pack will be provided for all attendees, which will include information on the yoga and breathing techniques we have used as well as other helpful information. 

The cost for these classes is £90.
