I had a course of yoga therapy sessions with Susie to address an ongoing issue of discomfort / pain in my leg and knee. After a very thorough initial assessment, we had 6 sessions. In these Susie devised a practice for me to take home, based on the problems I wanted to address. She took great care to ensure that each posture she suggested was not causing me any pain as well as explaining her rationale for including it in the practice. These 6 sessions were spaced out to roughly once a month. Over this time I noticed a definite improvement, with much less discomfort. I have these practices to return to, should the problem arise again. I am very grateful to Susie for her help.

I have found working with Susie very helpful indeed. I had not had one to one teaching for some years, and had been through some major life changes, including loss of partner and serious cancer diagnosis and treatment.

I was keen to bring yoga back into my life on a regular basis, and also wanted to explore some of the issues I was facing through my practice. Susie has given me simple, healing practices that have very well addressed the issues I’ve raised with her, and those that she’s observed.

I have found my yoga therapy sessions with Susie very helpful.  I initially contacted Susie for help with a tight neck but along the way we have covered a number of other things which have cropped up.  Susie always listens very carefully and clearly explains her recommendations. Since working full time and having three teenagers can impact my time, I appreciated Sue giving me options for practices of different lengths and even things I could do at my desk or in a quiet corner at work.  She has a calm, professional and empathetic manner and I have learned a lot that will help from Lion’s Breath for just letting it all out (not one to do at work though!) to gentle Nyasam (which I definitely can do at work).
